'Clown Fest' was a joyful, family-friendly clown festival of laughter, legacy, and springtime presented by Dartboard Productions in honor and memory of the beloved teacher and artist, Kaf Warman. Held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 in the Long Meadow of Prospect Park, the festival featured clowns spanning generations of Kaf’s teaching at Carnegie Mellon University, where she deeply shaped the lives and artistry of countless students. Clown Fest invited the public into a whimsical and heartwarming gathering where hilarity and wholesomeness intertwined under the open sky.
Kaf Warman was a visionary teacher and artist whose work shaped generations of students at Carnegie Mellon University and beyond. She taught us to connect not just to our physical selves, but to the deeper rhythms of life — to see ourselves as seasons, sounds, textures, and colors. Her humor was a guiding light, and even in her final days, she carried a twinkle in her eye that seemed to share a private joke with the universe. Through her clown, commedia, and improv work, she left us with a love for life’s details, and a seed of hope quietly growing, waiting for spring.
