our story
Dartboard Productions is a collective born from the shared experiences of a diverse group of artists, many of whom met at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama. As a "Covid class," our journey was uniquely shaped by the challenges of the pandemic, pushing us to emphasize original work in forging our paths in the arts. We are a creative haven where community takes center stage and play is the heartbeat of our process. Our mission is to transform unique and creative ideas into thought-provoking theatrical experiences and film productions. We embrace an equitable approach in our leadership team, fostering exploration, making space for the uncomfortable, and challenging the conventional.
As a nonprofit, we are committed to bringing art back to its roots in community and ritual. Dartboard Productions is a sanctuary for provocative, connective, and daring work. Our focus on multimedia and interdisciplinary endeavors aims to cultivate active conversations through scrappy and explosive creations.
Our values—empathy, community, and adventure—guide us in maintaining an open forum of inquiry where creativity knows no bounds. Join us in this electrifying journey, where art becomes a powerful force for communal engagement and exploration.
